Director Puri Jagannadh celebrates his 53rd birthday today, 28 September and on this special occasion, his team and actor Vijay Deverakonda threw the director a grand birthday party in Goa, which involved lots of hugs and kisses for the filmmaker. Vijay Deverakonda, Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur’s recently started the new schedule of Liger in Goa. The team is in the mid of its shooting. The film’s new schedule began on 15 September in Goa, where high octane action sequences and also some important scenes will be canned. The poster which was released recently sees Arjun reddy actor as an MMA fighter getting ready to fight. Foreign fighters are also taking part in the shoot of the ongoing schedule.
Vijay appears in a completely new makeover and underwent training in mixed martial arts in the sports action thriller. Actress Ananya Pandey is paired opposite Vijay. The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress too took to her Instagram account and wished her Liger director a very happy birthday.
In association with Puri connects, the film is being produced jointly by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film is made on a grand scale without compromising on budget. Liger's cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sarma, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director. The film also features Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in prominent roles. The film is being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
